While fans wait with bated breath "The Curse Of Oak Island" Season 7 to unfold in all its glory, there are major hints being dropped. So, what does one get to expect? Is there a new find in the offing? What’s the conclusion going to be like? Here’s a breakdown of fans should watch out for.

Throwing in a bit of context, since 2006, Rick Lagina and his brother Marty are on a rather strange quest to discover a hidden treasure. But, what’s yet to be uncovered is the “nature” of the treasure. So, what could it possibly be? Religious artifacts are hidden by the Knights Templar? Booty buried by pirates? Stuff that would put legendary poets to shame? Well, nobody still knows!

Is there a major find, somewhere?

Well, this is a question that has passed the mind of every diehard waiting for the upcoming “The Curse Of Oak Island” Season 7. But, here’s an inkling of what fans could expect. “I think the audience is going to be amazed and a bit stunned, as we were, by the discoveries,” Rick Lagina stated. From what’s heard, they will be seen delving deep in a bit to explore the peculiarity surrounding the island’s swamp.

A New Debate Is Strongly Indicated

There have been claims from credible sources from the Netherlands and the U.S who believe that the 17th century Nicolas Poussin painting “The Shepherds of Arcadia” comprises a huge hint. “We're quite intrigued. Some exploration will revolve around that theory,” “The Curse Of Oak Island” Season 7 star Rick said in a recent interview.

A Heartfelt Farewell Is On the Cards

The recent times brought forth a development, which left the entire team devastated— long-time Oak Island treasure seeker Dan Blankenship passed away at age 95 last March. "Strange things happened to Dan over his 50-plus years, but only on Sundays," Rick says. "[His wife] made him [promise] to not work on Sundays. We continue to adhere to that,” he added.

Clearly, there’s no hint of the treasure just as yet—and justifiably so. But, explorers were left at a loss for words when they discovered a mysterious coin on the island—again a rarity, and got them to put their thinking caps on.

The first episode of the much-anticipated “The Curse Of Oak Island” Season 7 was unveiled on Tuesday on History Channel.
