Another week of "Dancing With the Stars" will resume today, and one celebrity will be eliminated again. But who will it be? Last week Amber Riley and Derek Hough and Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and partner Val Chmerkovskiy impressed us with two sexy tango routines, while Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff turned up the heat on the dance floor with their paso doble. Valerie Harper was sent home after an emotional Viennese waltz that couldn't get her score up. Nevertheless, the judges praised her for her courage and applauded the fact she was in such great shape after a horrific illness.
But this week, the real competition of "Dancing with the Stars" begins. The first three couples to go home boasted the lowest scores and the not-so-graceful dancers. Now, nine couples remain. Six of which have received at least one "9" from the judges. So this week we could get a surprise elimination. Bill Engvall and Emma Slater are at the bottom of the leader board, with the lowest scores of everyone left by far, however, Bill has been surprisingly good, and since he was the last one to perform last week, that might've helped his votes, since people remember his performance and emotional breakdown when he was told right there after the judges' comments that he was safe from elimination.
Today, couples will perform on the theme "The Best Year of My Life," with a story from each star's personal life played out on the dance floor. Top couples Amber Riley and Derek Hough and Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff are both dancing Foxtrots. Riley will perform to a Glee cast version of "Try A Little Tenderness," and Bleu will dance to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Leah Remini and Tony Dovolani and Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd will perform Contemporary routines. The first couple to "Roar" by Katy Perry and the second to Elton John's "Your Song." Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke will dance a waltz to "I'm Kissing You" by Des-ree and Bill Engvall and Emma Slater will do a Viennese waltz to Billy Joel's "She's Always A Woman."
As for the three remaining couples, Christina Millian and Mark Ballas will dance a Cha Cha Cha to "Forget You" by Cee Lo Green; Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Sasha Farber dance Jazz to Britney Spears' "Work B*tch;" and Elizabeth Berkeley Lauren and Val Chmerkovskiy will do the Jive to the Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited."
