Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are among the most popular members of the British royal family. Fans have been dying to know everything about their daily lives, which are probably made more intriguing since they’re more private compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Surprising as this may sound, interest in Harry and Meghan even include what their sleeping arrangement might be. For instance, somebody posted the query “Do Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sleep in the same bed?” on Quora.

One user of the site believes that Harry and Meghan likely sleep on the same bed because they’re still young and still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. “We don’t know for certain, but most modern couples start out their marriage sleeping in the same bedroom,” Deanna Eppers wrote on Quora.

However, she also believes that they might opt to sleep separately as they got older, especially with the appearance of some issues, such as snoring. “Later, as age and snoring enters in, a couple will willingly sleep in separate bedrooms,” Eppers added.

If Harry and Meghan opt to later sleep separately, they wouldn’t be the first couple to do so, according to CheatSheet. According to the publication, some royal couples opted for such sleeping arrangements in the past, and it’s not unheard of among the British upper class, especially since they have plenty of rooms in their palatial mansions to spare.

One famous royal couple who later decided to sleep separately is Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Actually, the public only belatedly discovered their separate sleeping arrangement after an intruder broke into Her Majesty’s sleeping quarters.

“The break-in was said to have been facilitated by the fact that the queen insists on sleeping with the windows open — Philip prefers the windows closed, hence his desire for his own room,” The Daily Beast wrote.

Even Prince Charles and his second wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, also opted to sleep separately. “Prince Charles and Camilla have separate bedrooms at Highgrove, Charles’s house, but Camilla goes one step further and has kept her own family house, which predates her marriage to Charles and to which Charles is not, as a rule, invited,” the publication revealed.
