Recently, the US President Donald Trump was in the news for his unannounced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center and it didn’t take much time for the rumours of him having a heart attack to become a widespread news story. Irked by the media reports, the President decided to respond to the fake news in his own unique way- by posting an image of himself as Rocky Balboa.

On November 27, 2019, Donald Trump arrived at the West Palm Beach golf course for his Thanksgiving holiday and tweeted the image of himself as Rocky Balboa sans a caption. In the picture, the president’s head is superimposed on the muscular body of the fictional prizefighter, a character which was played by actor Sylvester Stallone in the “Rocky” movie series.

While the picture didn’t have an adjoining caption but Trump’s comments made at a campaign rally on November 26, 2019, more or less, spelt out what he had in mind. Even here the topic in question was the rumoured news of his ailing health.

“They said, he wasn't wearing a tie. Which is pretty unusual for me honestly. I should have worn the tie. Maybe it wasn't their fault. They never apologize. They said he wasn't wearing a tie. This is a sign of a massive heart attack,” he complained.

What really happened, as confirmed by the White House, was that Trump was there to get a partial physical since he had a free weekend and would be busy next year campaigning for re-election. So, as Trump puts it, the doctors were all praising his physique during the examination.

“The first thing they do is say, "Take off your shirt, sir, and show us that gorgeous chest. So we want to see. We've never seen a chest quite like it." No but seriously,” he shared he told a Florida campaign rally.

His tweet soon turned into a viral meme as Twitter users took to the social media platform, mocking the President with expectations versus reality posts, even though Donald Trump Jr. “heard from reliable sources that it’s not doctored.”
