Quite frankly, what professional athlete doesn't have child support issues? After flourishing in the sport of soccer, Ecuadorian star Enner Valencia found himself embroiled in some legal issues revolving around his unpaid child support fees.

After returning back home to Ecuador for his World Cup 2018 qualifier match against Chile, prior to his game, Valencia had to worry about dodging the cops. Early Thursday morning during a team practice (Oct. 6), several police officers along with the lawyer of his mother's child, tried to arrest him for owing over $17,000 in unpaid child support. Fortunately for him, the cops in attendance refused to take him into custody.

Later on in the day, as Valencia's team arrived to the match on their team bus, the cops tried to stop and arrest him. Oddly enough, they failed to take him down again. Fast forward to the match and Ecuador is winning 3-0 against Chile. During the 82nd minute, Valencia was reportedly injured with "altitude sickness" and left the game. Reports indicated that Valencia wasn't in fact sick nor injured and that he faked his injury to evade the police again.

To punctuate Valencia's lucky day, the judge in his case rescinded the arrest warrant, leaving him to be a free man. Talk about luck.
