Elon Musk Backs Trump, Casts Doubt on WSJ Epstein Letter Report

Billionaire Elon Musk claimed that Jewish advocacy organization Anti Defamation League (ADL) is a "hate group" for including Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA in its glossary of extremist groups.

Musk made the claim in a post in his social media platform, X, when replying to a publication by conservative influencer Mike Cernovich, who drew attention to the matter.

"The larger problem with the ADL designating Turning Point USA as a hate group, is that the FBI allows the ADL to proving this "training" to agents. The ADL is deeply embedded within law enforcement. They must be removed immediately," he said.

Fox News reported that the ADL then removed its entire "Glossary of Extremism and Hate" following the backlash, which also included Republican lawmakers.

The ADL described the conservative group led by the killed commentator as one having ties to "a range of right-wing extremists" and which has "generated support from anti-Muslim bigots, alt-lite activists and some corners of the white supremacist alt-right."

Musk had already made a similar claim on Sunday, saying the ADL "hates Christians." GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna echoed criticism, saying "America First' is not hate speech. Turning Point USA is not a hate group."

The ADL reacted retiring the list, saying the group is always "looking for how we can and should do things better." It added that the glossary had more than 1,000 entries and several of them were "outdated" without clarifying the one about TPUSA was one of them.

"This will allow ADL to explore new strategies and creative approaches to deliver our data and present our research more effectively. It will keep us focused on ensuring we do what we do best: fighting antisemitism and hate in the most impactful ways possible," reads a passage of the publication.
