An artist who was formerly employed by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and accused the pair of assault has recounted an incident that occurred years ago in the disgraced financier's office, for which President Donald Trump was allegedly present.

Maria Farmer, who provided the first criminal complaint against Epstein to law enforcement, appeared on CNN's Erin Burnett Out Front on Monday where she described the incident in conversation with host Erin Burnett.

Farmer recalled a 1995 meeting with the financier where she was called to his Manhattan office at night. When she arrived, she saw a "tall, imposing" man already there who she recognized to be Trump.

"He walked up a few feet from me and just stood over me in a very imposing way," Farmer said. "And he looked at me like he was in on some secret or something. It was really weird, like smirking. And I felt threatened."

She continued to describe how she made a face at him upon which Trump withdrew.

She then recalled that Epstein told Trump, "Oh no, she's not here for you, follow me. Which immediately made me feel weird, was there someone there, in that other room?"

As Trump began walking towards the other room, she heard him mutter under his breath "Oh, I thought she was 16."

"I thought it was rude, it doesn't matter what age I was, it was rude," Farmer stated.

President Donald Trump has vehemently denied being involved in the Epstein files despite expressing a refusal to release them.

"That's called 'old news.' That's been old news. That has been talked about for years. Even Epstein's lawyer said I had nothing to do with it—it's old news," he told NBC News.

"The President was never in Epstein's office, and in fact, the President kicked him out of his club for being a creep," said White House communications director Steven Cheung in a statement to CNN.

"He's lying," Farmer said of Trump's denials. "They're being disrespectful to the fact I have given up my entire life for this case, just to have it investigated. I'm really sorry for him, that he's caught... but he's lying, I don't appreciate it."

"He was absolutely at the offices, it was 9 o'clock at night and I thought it was inappropriate. But also, they were best friends at the time," she added.
