A 21-year-old man shot and killed his mother’s abusive boyfriend in their Queens apartment Tuesday, Nov. 2, night because he was reportedly fed-up over the repeated beatings she received from him.

According to the police, at around 7:20 pm on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to an apartment on 65th Avenue of Parsons Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting.

The responding officers arrived at the fourth-floor apartment and found a 47-year-old man lying unresponsive with gunshot wounds in the head and chest.

Emergency services rushed the injured man to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

“He deserved it. He was always beating on that woman. He was drinking every day and putting his hands on her and her son,” a family friend who lives downstairs said, the New York Daily News reported.

“There were two shots, and then the police came knocking.”

The woman needs a walker to get around, the neighbor added.

Police sources said the family was known to them as they were involved in a domestic violence incident back in 2018.

It remains unclear if the suspect shot the man when he interrupted an assault on his mother, or if he’d just had enough of the abuse, police sources said.

The investigators didn’t immediately release the names of the victim or the suspected shooter, who is reported to be on the run.

A probe is underway and efforts are being put in to nab the suspect, police sources said.

In a similar but unrelated incident, a 57-year-old mother smashed her son's head with a stone to put an end to the abuse he inflicted on her after he comes home drunk.

The victim, identified as 36-year-old Sivakumar, a construction worker, was found dead on Aug. 13, at his home in Periyankuppam, near Ambur in Tirupattur district of Tamil Nadu, India.

According to the police, the suspect, Rajeshwari was upset over her son’s alcohol addiction. The victim often picked up fights with his mother after coming home drunk. He used to allegedly beat her up in front of his wife and children.

Rajeshwari told police that she was fed up with his tantrums and wanted to put an end to the verbal and physical abuse.

So she grabbed a stone and smashed it on his head while he was asleep. She then cleaned the stone and threw it away, police said.

The mother has been arrested and remains in police custody.
