Following Friday's hearing officially announcing the termination of Britney Spears' nearly 14-year-long conservatorship, fans and celebrity friends took to social media to celebrate with the pop star.

Award-winning singer and actress Lady Gaga posted a photo of herself with Spears at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, captioning it on IG with, “I have loved @britneyspears her whole career."

"I looked up to her, admired her strength—she empowered so many people and still does. I couldn’t be happier for you today. You never deserved what happened, Thank God 4 today," she continued as per Vulture.

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton, who has always been supportive of Britney's journey out of conservatorship, took to Twitter to say, “I’m so happy that this day has finally come. This moment is so long overdue."

She added, “You’re the most resilient, kind, and inspiring soul. We all love you so so much!”

"Saturday Night Live" also marked Britney’s victory at the end of a skit of its latest episode. The sketch centered on Aidy Bryant and his version of Texas Senator Ted Cruz over the politician's recent comments surrounding Big Bird and the COVID-19 vaccine.

In the sketch, Bryant’s version of Cruz was hosting his own version of the children’s television program Sesame Street, dubbed Ted Cruz Street.

The fictional show, dubbed "Ted Cruz Street," included a “word of the day” segment, which picked “freedom.” After the word was announced, cast member Chloe Fineman, who previously impersonated Spears on the show, appeared at Bryant’s side.

“Oh my God you guys, we did it!” she said, according to the Independent.

In the aftermath of Britney's freedom from the chains of the conservatorship, the "Everytime" hitmaker's care manager Jodi Montgomery has expressed plans to keep the post-conservatorship arrangements a secret amid her distrust of Jamie Spears.

Montgomery and other members of Britney's camp filed a "termination plan," days before Friday's hearing. The paperwork reportedly includes guidelines "for supportive decision-making to help [Britney] adjust and transition to life outside of the conservatorship."

TMZ noted that the document has confidential medical information belonging to Britney. There is also information about her kids, business interests, and finances.

Two months ago, Spears, 39, got engaged to long-time partner Sam Asghari, 27, after they started dating in 2016. While the wedding date remains unknown, reports suggest the "Toxic" singer will be in a Versace gown for the nuptials. Other details of the affair are yet to be finalized.

“I don’t know where I’m going to get married. We don’t know if we’re going to get married in Italy, or Greece, Australia, or New York City," Spears also told her fans on TikTok in October.

She married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004 before the couple filed for an annulment just a few days later. Later that year, Spears tied the knot with Kevin Federline and divorced him in 2007. She has two kids with Federline.
