American pop star Britney Spears has filed yet another scathing petition on Monday, requesting to boot out her father Jamie Spears from his role in managing her $60 million fortune. It comes after the court recently denied a request to dissolve her conservatorship but granted her the right to choose her own representation.

According to the camp of the "Princess of Pop," Spears has been living in a “Kafkaesque nightmare” that has left her “traumatized” while lining Jamie’s pockets, the New York Daily News reported.

Mathew Rosengart, a new lawyer for the pop icon, said that Jamie has been allocating $16,000 for himself a month from the estate, $2,000 more each month than what he allotted to his daughter since at least 2009.

He ultimately petitioned for the “suspension and removal” of the man as the conservator of “Oops! ... I Did It Again” singer's Las Vegas residency, where the patriarch's cut is reportedly estimated to be at least $2.1 million. He would also get a share of the revenues generated from her daughter's performances, yielding an estimated $500,000 alone from her 2011 Femme Fatale tour, according to the legal filing.

The father further pockets an extra $2,000 monthly for office expenses as he employs a team of lawyers who charge millions in fees seemingly taking advantage of his conservatorship.

“Although it is common for managers, agents, and other industry professionals to receive a percentage of an artist’s earnings, Mr. Spears is none of those. He is a conservator and, as a conservator, his role is to be burdened by, rather than benefit from, the conservatorship,” Rosengart wrote, noting that the Spears had struggled financially under his leadership, prompting the family to file for bankruptcy in 1998.

The singer's camp went further to say that the Spears patriarch's conservatorship continues to impair Britney's mental health, well-being, and ability to continue her career. It states that the father is “obligated" to accommodate their request to let a professional take over his role and that he should shoulder his legal expenses, not the estate, had he decided to fight the move.

In a statement to the court on June 23, Britney told Los Angeles County Judge Brenda Penny that she deems the conservatorship “abusive” and wants it to end because she doesn't want to be anyone's slave, to which the singer's mother, Lynne Spears, agreed.

Lynne also backed the recent petition, saying her husband has placed their daughter under an “absolutely microscopic control," even ordering medical aides, household staff, and security personnel to “report back to him each and every detail” of what Britney has been up to since his conservatorship began.

Britney is asking the court to allow the replacement of her father with a certified public accountant, identified as Jason Rubin in court documents, according to The Hill.

Meanwhile, singer-actress Paris Hilton has also made it clear in public that she stands with Britney in the conservatorship case last month during the grand opening of the Resorts World Las Vegas casino.

During her DJ set, Hilton can be heard cheering the words, "We love you, Britney. Free Britney, " which caused the crowd to go wild at the venue.

"I just love her so much. I feel like if you are an adult, you should be able to live your life and not be controlled," Hilton reportedly said about Britney in 2020, TMZ noted.
