
"Game of Thrones" will be getting a special in-depth preview episode to season four called “Game of Thrones: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing.” It will air on HBO 8:45 p.m. EST ahead of the new episode of “True Detective.” “GoT: A Foreshadowing” is a 15-minute special that will include behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and crew as well as sneak peaks for the next season. Viewers can expect an interview with Emilia Clarke who will discuss Daenerys as well as her dragons.
"Game of Thrones: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing" got its own preview on HBO's Instagram account. Showing some behind-the-scenes shots of season 4 as well as some key moments from the next season, HBO has dones some serious teasing. The video featured Joffrey Lannister and Margery Tyrell’s wedding, Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Bran Stark, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark and Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper. The trailer focuses on Daenerys Targaryen and ends with a glimpse of several confrontations.
The “Game of Thrones: Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing” special airs on Feb. 9 at 8:45 p.m. EST. The “GoT” season four premiere airs on April 6. You can watch both the special preview and the season premiere on HBO Go. Season 4 is going to have some interesting plot developments and, as "Ice and Fire" will reveal, is set to focus on a new character - The Red Viper, Prince of Dorne, who will play an important role in the coming season, based on the book "A Song of Ice and Fire."
