Convicted child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell was reportedly granted limited immunity in exchange for providing 100 names to the Trump administration.
Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for coordinating a sex trafficking ring with Jeffrey Epstein, who died in federal custody in 2019, reportedly met for several hours on Thursday and Friday with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, according to multiple outlets.
Her attorney, David Markus, told ABC News that Maxwell was questioned about "maybe 100 different people," noting, "She didn't hold anything back."
While Markus emphasized that his client did not offer information in exchange for leniency, Maxwell was reportedly granted limited immunity, which is contingent on whether she tells the truth, NBC News reported.
"This is not a situation where we are asking for anything in return for testimony or anything like that," Markus said. "Of course, everybody knows Ms. Maxwell would welcome any relief."
Epstein's former associate, Maxwell, was questioned as the Trump administration faces mounting pressure over the unreleased "Epstein files," including the alleged client lists. Despite the Department of Justice concluding its investigation earlier this month, stating Epstein died by suicide and no such list exists, many MAGA supporters have turned on President Donald Trump, who had previously promised to release the information during his first term and again in the lead-up to his second. Additional details about the president's relationship with Epstein and Maxwell, reportedly dating back to the 1990s, have also emerged.
As the Trump administration attempts to suppress the Epstein story, both the media and Trump's own supporters continue to demand answers. On Friday, upon his arrival in Scotland for a five-day trip, a reporter asked whether the president had influenced House Republicans to block a vote on the Epstein files resolution.
"No, I was never involved in that," Trump responded. "I'm focused on making deals, I'm not focused on conspiracy theories that you are. I mean, I watch you people, it's so sad. You ought to talk about the success of our country instead of this nonsense you talk about over and over again," he added.
