Gina Rodriguez Golden Globe Dress: Lucky Fan Receives Gown Just In Time For Prom [TWEETS]

Gina Rodriguez kicked off 2016 by making a fan's dream come true via Twitter. Earlier this year in January, Rodriguez responded to a fan after tweeting to Gina that she would love to wear her Golden Globes dress to prom.

The "Jane the Virgin" actress, as awesome as she is, immediately responded with hopeful news. "Where do you live? I only own my first globes dress the one from last year...maybe we can make this happen," she told Twitter user Jessica Casanova, talking about the elegant black dress she wore when she nabbed her first-ever Golden Globe in 2015.

Despite her busy schedule, the Puerto Rican star kept her word and the dress arrived early this month ---just in time for Casanova's prom night!

The proof can all be seen in the tweets that both the actress and young lady have interchanged. "Do you like it? That's so exciting!!!!! Once alterations and all are done and it's prom night, I can see it on you!," Rodriguez told her fan. "Of course, it is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen.
