Giovanni Medina is facing two more embezzlement accusations, sources revealed on Friday.

According to TVnotas, Ninel Conde’s boyfriend has tricked more than one entrepreneur into investing in his businesses without delivering results.

Raúl Leonel Uribe, a Mexican businessman, spoke to the publication and revealed Medina asked him to put in $40,000 USD to open up a restaurant.

“One day, he called me to tell me he needed to start and asked for the money,” Uribe said. “The place opened in Mexico City but months went by and I never saw utility. Giovanni never showed his face again, he would just tell me ‘the payment will come out next week,’ but nothing. Then the place closed and a few months later he opened a club at the same venue.”

He added that when he went looking for Medina to claim his money, he told him he was “protected” by the authorities.

The second victim, who decided to remain anonymous, described Giovanni as someone who is charming enough to get people to do what he wants.

“Giovanni has a way with words to convince you,” the source mentioned. “He asked me to be his partner and I gave him 10,000 USD. In the beginning, he said the utility payment would be every week but that never happened. When I called him, he said it would be every month, then every two months, but it never came.”

Earlier this week, “El Bombón Asesino” opened up about her partner’s current situation during an interview with TV Azteca’s “Ventaneando.”

“It’s something that does affect me because we were very at ease but oh well, this how it goes in this business and you know I’m always here to face things,” she said. “Everything is calm, everything is normal, and I would love to tell you everything about the situation, the chisme, but I can’t. It’s not something for me to tell.”
