With the end of the year approaching fast, more and more news, rumors and videos of the alleged next-generation iPad and iPad mini have surfaced online. Most of the physical features have come from Unbox Therapy, who has been showcasing an alleged fifth-generation iPad and second-generation iPad mini rear shell on their YouTube channel. Chinese sites like DoNews and ZOL Tablet PC forum have also showed off the next-generation iPad shell in the same gold/champagne color as the new iPhone 5S.

Along with the rear shell Unbox Therapy has also shown new Smart Cover's for the new iPad in multiple colors. Now a new video from Chinese parts supplier, sw-box.com, has posted a new video and photos of the upcoming fifth-generation iPad. There have been other comparison videos but this new leak shows off all the physical changes compared to the current generation iPad and iPad mini. The video shows that the fifth-generation iPad will adopt a similar design to the current iPad mini.

Previous rumors also stated Apple is experimenting with a 12 or 13-inch iPad with partners Quanta Computers. If these rumors are true then these iPads won't see the light of day until early or mid-2014.

Apple is expected to have a second media event late October or early November to debut the new fifth-generation iPad and second-generation iPad mini with a release date right before the holiday season.
