It has been rumored that Apple is planning to release a plethora of new iPhone model's in the coming months. According to a report on Macotakara's website Apple will be releasing the much rumored low-cost iPhone, the iPhone 5S, and the iPad 5. The site suggests that the low cost iPhone may ship in a number of different colors and that it will begin trial production soon.
Color choices for the new low-cost iPhone are still a mystery. Macotakara reports that two credible sources have given them details on the colors that will be provided for the new iPhone. The first source said that the low cost iPhone will come in colors that include navy, gold orange, white, and gray, while a second source named white, pink, green, blue, and yellow orange as the available colors. A common theme, however, is that the low cost iPhone will not include a black option.
Rumors also suggest that the new iPhone will come in the same colors as the 5th generation iPod Nano.
The low-cost iPhone is rumored to target an emerging market for new iPhone users. The phone will flaunt a polycarbonate shell and will cost $350-400 without subside.
Macotakara reports that the iPhone 5s will also come in multiple colors including: the original black and white plus an additional color which is either gold or green.
The design is rumored to be the same as the iPhone 5, but the new 5s will sport a dual-LED flash and that the rear microphone hole will become circular instead of pill shaped, placed between the camera and the flash.
The site gives some insight to the new iPad 5 reporting that they will be adding an extra speaker for more sound depth for when users want to play audio without their earphones.
Macotakara does not provide any release date speculations, but with WWDC right around the corner we should be getting some answers to these rumors soon.
