Pennywise is back to haunt us all again, 27 years later. “It Chapter Two” finally debuted on July 17 at the San Diego Comic-Con. The film follows 2017’s “It” based on the 1986 Stephen King bestseller of the same title.

Warner Bros. has since released the trailer.

The first film centered on seven teens, called the Loser’s Club, fighting a demon in the form of a clown. About 27 years later, the clown comes back to repeat the cycle. The Loser’s Club reunites at their hometown to stop the demon once again.

Below are the key details you need to know about the comeback of Pennywise.

The cast is all grown up with adult actors replacing the kids. Bill Skarsgård, of course, reclaims his role as Pennywise.

In the second film, James McAvoy now plays Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain is Beverly Marsh, Jay Ryan takes his role as Ben Hanscom, Bill Hader plays Richie Tozier, Isaiah Mustafa is Mike Hanlon role, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak and Andy Bean as Stan Uris.

The young actors from the first film get to act their characters in the flashback scenes.

The lucky fans at Comic-Con were reportedly treated to three exclusive clips, two of which are expanded versions of the trailer. The first clip shows the club’s reunion as adults, while the second shows Bill in a carnival searching for an unnamed child that fell prey to It.

A new poster for the film was also released. “It ends,” the poster reads along with a photo of Pennywise with eyes glaring intently.

“When I got home, I had this deeper sense of what it means to live and die,” Mustafa told CNET. “ It became more real ... it almost gave me a deeper sense of meaning. It just kind of opened my eyes to the possibility that anything can happen." He also mentioned that despite the horrifying nature of the film, it was still touching in a sense.

“It Chapter 2” is set to release on September 6 in U.S. and U.K. and September 5 in Australia.
