Ivanka Trump’s political aspirations aren’t unknown. In fact, the soon to be ex-first daughter’s aides have constantly put out a word about how Ivanka harbors desires to kick-start her political career at the earliest.

“Ivanka definitely has political ambitions, no question about it,” a source revealed to a media outlet. “She wants to run for something, but that still needs to be figured out,” she added. Ivanka set tongues wagging when the news of her buying a plush plot of land in an exclusive enclave nicknamed “Billionaire bunker” surfaced.

Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner have shelled out over $30 million on the property, which will soon be their home. The high-profile residents of the island are reportedly are given protection by a private 13-man police force for 29 residencies.

Soon after, rumors ran amok that the senior aide and daughter to Donald Trump is likely to run for Senate.

Unlike her father, President Donald Trump, Ivanka has been media-friendly and seems like the perfect fit to launch a political career – with the support of Donald Trump, who owns the Mar-A-Lago resort, hence as a potential base for his daughter to launch a political career of her own. And, if the buzz holds any truth, it is certain that Florida might work in her favor owing to her father’s goodwill in the state.

“I think she’d be the immediate frontrunner if she ran for US Senate against Rubio, given her father’s popularity in the Sunshine State,” Adam C Smith, former Tampa Bay Times political editor and now a consultant with Mercury Public Affairs, told a media outlet.

Critics are of the opinion that Ivanka has the power to pull crowds and raise funds as well – Her visiting Florida multiple times in the run-up to the presidential election, drawing capacity audiences at events as well as raising millions of dollars at fundraisers testifies the same.

Turns out, Ivanka isn’t the only one to be following in her father’s footsteps. Donald Trump Jr. is likely to be diving deep into U.S. politics, given his popularity with his president father’s conservative base. On the other hand, Trump’s daughter-in-law is likely to be a potential candidate to run for the Senate in North Carolina.
