The Portland Trail Blazers will be looking to make it back-to-back wins on Wednesday when they host the Utah Jazz in a Western Conference showdown at the Moda Center.

Both teams are tied in their regular season series head-to-head. The Blazers and the Jazz are also coming off last-game wins.

Portland bounced back after a loss to the Lakers against the San Antonio Spurs, 147-127.

Damian Lillard had a game-high 37 points and 12 assists to lead the Trail Blazers. Anfernee Simmons added 26 points while Jusuf Nurkic had 25 markers.

“We separated ourselves in that third quarter. We played the way we need to play for most of an NBA game, separated ourselves and then obviously finished the game. It was a great offensive game and a better defensive effort in the second half,” Lillard said. “Right now we can’t complain about how we get them. We won the game."

The Trail Blazers are averaging 113.6 points per game, 17th in the league. They also have an offensive rating of 114.8, 8th in the NBA.

Defensively, they are holding down the opposition to 113.1 points per contest, 14th in the league. Portland has a defensive rating of 114.4, 21st in the league.

The Jazz will also be looking for a follow-up win after trashing the Charlotte Hornets, 120-102. Lauri Markkanen led the way with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley chipped in 18 and 14 points respectively.

“We saw at halftime they weren’t making their 3s, so our focus was just to protect the paint and take away what they wanted to do,” Markkanen said.

The Jazz is scoring 117.6 points per game, fourth in the NBA. They also hold an offensive rating of 116.4, fourth in the league.

Defensively, they are giving up 116.3 points per contest, 22nd in the league. Their adjusted defensive rating is 114.9, 13th in the NBA.

The Trail Blazers are -4 favorites to win over the Jazz who are at +4. The Moneyline for this game is -172 for Portland and +146 for Utah.

The Blazers brace for the Jazz on Wednesday at the Moda Center with the game set to start at 10:00 p.m. E.T. The clash will be shown via NBA League Pass with live streaming available via fuboTV.
