JLo, Ain't Your Mama

A few weeks ago, Jennifer Lopez posted a photo of a present she had just received from fellow badass singer, Rihanna.

“Thank you so much for these incredibly sick ass boots,” Lopez wrote describing the new pair of denim thigh-high boots designed by the “Work” performer for the Manolo Blahnik collection.

Little did we know that JLo would decide to include the high fashion footwear in her new music video “Ain’t Your Mama.”

“She wore ‘The 9-5’ in a video! Major! Yas JLo! Thanks for the support!” Bad gal Riri wrote on Instagram. “I’m having such a f*ing moment knowing that forever I have proof of a bad one like you in my designs.”

Although the boots look freaking awesome on the 46-year-old Boricua, she recently admitted that it was not the best decision to dance in the high-heeled pair.

“They were hard to dance in,” she revealed in a Facebook live video earlier this week. “Everybody else was dancing in, as you see, kinda like combat boots and sneakers, and I walked out into the set and was like, nobody wearing heels but me? OK. And it was on concrete, outside, so it wasn’t the easiest boot to dance in, but we pulled it off.”

The former “American Idol” judge added that the minute she looked at the boots, she knew she they had to be a part of the video.

“Rihanna had sent me these amazing boots and I was like, these have to be in the video, how are we going to get these in the video?” she asked herself. “And I always saw the women marching at the end in a group, starting this revolution, and I thought, OK, maybe I’ll just wear them to dance. They’re just amazing.”

Nothing like a good pair of high heels to start a revolution! Watch JLo’s video below. We can hardly tell she was uncomfortable, how about you?
