Jennifer Lopez’s “It’s My Party” tour has been ongoing since June 7 and kicked off in Inglewood, California. It’s the fourth concert tour of the 49-year-old songstress, who’s celebrating her birthday on July 24, just a week from now.

On July 8, the pop icon took to her YouTube channel to share the first volume of her tour’s diary. In the video, which is short of 20 minutes long, Lopez is seen sharing a tad bit about a performance mishap during the Las Vegas leg of the tour. Apparently, Alex Rodriguez’s fiancée ended up bleeding due to a misstep in her choreography.

“I hit myself with the microphone,” Lopez can be heard saying at 5:35 in the said clip. “Went like this; boom! I just looked to the side at the wrong time,” she continued. Forty-three-year-old Rodriguez is next seen checking the wound out and then kissing and hugging her fiancée while those around them cheer on.

“It was a tough show for me,” Lopez said. “It was the best show I’ve seen so far,” the former professional baseball shortstop, however, told Lopez.

He also acknowledged Lopez’s team. “It was a Saturday night in Vegas, and you guys killed it,” he stated. “And you showed why you’re a champion, baby. You were down, and you still came back up and had the best show so far,” he continued to tell Lopez.

At 6:22 in the video, the former Fly Girl dancer mentions that she’s unhappy with herself, but Rodriguez continues to lift her spirits up. “Your voice was the best I’ve ever heard it,” commented Rodriguez.

Lopez will be seen breaking into tears as she tells him the entire story. She explains that swelling was already subdued as her team managed to ice the wound right away.

“And I was like, ‘It hurts!’” said Lopez in the tour diary. “And he was like, ‘I gotta do it or else it’s gonna blow up.’ And he just went down, and he goes, ‘You might need stitches.’ And I was like, ‘No, no, no stitches.’”

To end the segment, Lopez is seen speaking with her manager, Benny Medina. “Alex said it was the best show he’d ever seen,” she stated. “That’s why I love him, and I’m gonna marry him. Whether he wants to or not, I’m gonna marry him. I’m gonna marry him forever.”

“It’s My Party” is set to end at the American Airlines Arena in Miami on July 27. Lopez will then move on to the international leg of the tour, which will start in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Aug. 1 and will end in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Aug. 11.
