Jennifer Lopez’s daughter, Emme, is taking the world by storm. The 11-year-old recently showed off her singing chops when she performed live with her mom while on tour.
Prior to Emme’s appearance on Lopez’s “It’s My Party,” the “World Of Dance” judge first shared a video of her talented daughter singing Alicia Keys’ hit song “If I Ain’t Got You.” The clip was uploaded on Lopez’s YouTube channel and Instagram account.
In the short video, Lopez asks Emme if she wants to perform with her on her tour. Emme tells her mom that she’s not sure if she wants to do it, but Lopez says that she will figure something out.
True to her word, Emme became the highlight of one of Lopez’s performances. After singing “Titanium,” the mom of two sang some lines to her hit song “Limitless” alongside Emme.
Days after the live performance, a behind-the-scene video featuring Emme was uploaded on Lopez’s YouTube account. Titled “It’s Emme’s Party,” the clip opens with a footage of Lopez and Emme singing on stage while wearing a matching red attire.
In one of the scenes, Lopez and Emme are both on stage practicing their duet. Before singing their hearts out, Emme runs to her mom and gives her a tight hug. Emme then reveals that when she was little, she used to be really shy. But after starring on school plays, she became used to performing in front of crowds.
Emme also said that she loves rehearsing because a couple of minutes later, she would already go on stage and be in front of people, which is fun. But in one of the scenes, Emme refuses to practice with her mom. After much convincing, she agrees to try again.
The adorable pre-teen also revealed that she doesn’t like getting her hair and makeup done because it’s annoying. Emme also said that this is why she always looks concerned when she’s in front of the mirror.
Emme is the daughter of Lopez with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. She has a twin brother named Max.
