Kate Middleton recently sported a new hairstyle, causing fans to think that she’s pregnant with her fourth child. Experts claimed that Kate usually changes the color of her hair or usually gets her hair trimmed months before making a pregnancy announcement.

But while speaking with Daily Star, body language expert Judi James said that the change in the Duchess of Cambridge’s hair has nothing to do with her pregnancy. Rather, she simply wanted to look nice when she accompanied Princess Charlotte to Thomas’s Battersea.

“The new style and color she emerged with when she took George and Charlotte to school did look like one of her glossiest and most fashionable looks to date,” James said. “But then she did say she’d had it done for the school run, and it could have been aimed at giving her an emotional lift as Charlotte left home for school for the first time,” she added.

James also talked about Kate’s repeated gesture of touching her belly. During a previous interview, the body language expert said that this is usually an indication that a woman is pregnant. But this isn’t necessarily the case for Prince William’s wife.

“However, this is a gesture that Kate uses a lot, pregnant or not, so it tends to be less than reliable as a clue,” James said. “She did look broody, but she appears besotted with youngest child Louis and the baby she met could just have reminded her of him.”

Meanwhile, bookmakers have also suspended the bets regarding Kate’s fourth pregnancy. Ladbrokes said that they’re confident that the mom of three will welcome the newest addition to their family next year.

“Royal fans reckon Kate is showing early signs of a potential pregnancy,” a spokesperson for Ladbrokes told The Sun. “We’re so confident the happy couple will add a fourth baby to their family we’ve now pulled the plug on all bets,” the spokesperson added.

It is not uncommon for members of the royal family to hold out on their pregnancy announcements. But the most obvious sign that indicates that a royal is indeed expecting is if she has a growing baby bump, which Kate doesn’t have.
