Someone returning on “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” has been steaming up social media and it is not the main star Jason Momoa.

Set to return in “Aquaman 2” is Patrick Wilson, the same guy who played the villain in “Ocean Master” or “King Orm.” Wilson has been busy with a lot of films and recently appeared on “The Conjuring 3.” He is also set to appear on “Moonfall” opposite Halle Berry which is set to come out in February 2022.

But for superhero-loving fans, the big-ticket is seeing Wilson back on “Aquaman 2.” The 48-year-old recently posted a shirtless photo via his Instagram account looking absolutely ripped.

For movies like “Aquaman,” most would expect the main protagonists to look fit with chiseled physiques. But based on the online photos, there is no question that Wilson is pretty much in shape, probably something movie buffs would least expect.

Aside from the photo, he showed on his Instagram, there was another shown off by director James Wan. The photo shows another photo of the actor, a new look to expect on “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

"I found this guy @thereelpatrickwilson stranded on a desert beach, doing his Cast Away impression. #Aquaman," read the caption of Wan on Instagram.

The photo from Wan gives “Aquaman” fans a glimpse of things to come in the sequel. After failing in his attempt to launch a massive attack in the first installment, “Ocean Master” was jailed for his crimes. He will find a way to break out of prison and battle Momoa (Arthur Curry) once again.

Aside from Momoa and Wilson, set to return on “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” are Amber Heard (Mera) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta).

“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 16, 2022.
