La Gran Fiesta

The Los Angeles Dodgers, fresh off their second consecutive NL West Division title, will honor the 17th annual Hispanic Heritage month with La Gran Fiesta on Saturday September 27th, 2014. The event, which concludes the season long, “Viva Los Dodgers” promotion, is presented by Coca-Cola, State Farm, Time Warner Cable and Chevrolet. It starts tomorrow at 2:00PM in Lot 6 of the Dodgers Stadium parking lot. It will feature dozens of Latino players, broadcasters and entertainers celebrating Latino culture. Families of all ages and sizes are welcome to participate so long as they hold a ticket to that night’s game against the Colorado Rockies.

Some of the Dodgers players who will be in attendance to speak to the crowd as well as sign autographs will be: Adrian Gonzalez, Kenley Jansen, Josh Beckett, Chad Billingsley, Erisbel Arruebarrena, Pedro Baez, Tim Federowicz, Carlos Frias, Yimi Garcia, Paco Rodriguez, Miguel Rojas and superstar, Hanley Ramirez.

In addition to Dodgers players, many hall of fame broadcasters and legends will be on hand as well. Besides conducting interviews with Dodgers reporter, Alanna Rizzo, they will also sign on autographs during the event. Jorge Jarrin, Nomar Garciaparra, Rick Monday, Manny Mota, Charley Steiner, Pepe Yñiguez and Hall of Famers, Jaime Jarrin and Fernando Valenzuela are just some of the big names who will be on hand for the event.

Entertainment will consist of CAVA, El Conjunto Nueva Ola, Trio Ellas and Grammy-nominated producer DJ Scoop DeVille. The event will also be televised on Time Warner SportsNet LA, the home of the Dodgers. In addition to entertainment, celebrities, interviews, and autographs, there will also be interactive areas and family friendly games and activities. First pitch is scheduled for 6:10PM, and tickets are still available for La Gran Fiesta and the game itself. 2:00PM to 3:00PM: Tommy Davis at Kellog’s activation area and Al Ferrara at Coca-Cola inflatable

2:00PM to 4:00PM: Dennis Powell at the 76 activation area

2:00PM to 2:50PM: Adrian Gonzalez and Kenley Jansen with Alanna Rizzo. Josh Beckett, Chad Billingsley, Nomar Garciaparra and Erisbel Arruebarrena will sign autographs.

2:50PM to 3:30PM: CAVA Performs
