Mark Burnett, MGM’s President of Television and Digital just announce their joint with Gato Grande Productions and the upcoming series about the life of the famous Latin singer Luis Miguel.
Even though they haven't offered any further details about when the production will start or what parts of Luis Miguel's life will be addressed, considering all the drama that has surrounded him, and all the "spicy" moments we've all witnessed through the years, one thing is for sure, the international superstar's life won’t be as private as he's always wanted it to be, and maybe we will find out unknown information about the polemic life of the artist.
"It has taken me a long time to tell my story and I have been looking for the right team to tell it the way it should be told," Luis Miguel said when asked about the new project that has been approved by him.
Burnett and MGM understand this is a great opportunity to launch Gato Productions with such an important icon like Luis Miguel and express their joy about the news. "We spent many hours at my home with Luis Miguel discussing ideas for how best to tell his story and we are thrilled to be in business with him" said Burnett.
Luis Miguel is one of the most important Spanish singers of all time having sold over 100 million albums worldwide and with more than 30 years of unstoppable carreer.
Well deserved for the Great Luis. We look forward for it and we also wonder If by any chance Mariah Carey or Aracely Arambula will be mentioned on the series?
