A Jordanian man has allegedly divorced his wife for recording his mother’s snoring and sharing the clip on a family chat group, local media from the gulf country reported on Wednesday, Nov. 3.

According to the reports, a fight broke out between the couple after the husband learned that his wife had recorded a voice clip of his mother snoring and had shared the same on her family Whatsapp group.

The man was in a fit of rage as the clip was then shared multiple times among family and friends, with many of them making a mockery out of his mom.

The heated argument between the couple escalated and ended up in the divorce, reports said.

In a similar but unrelated incident, an Egyptian man is seeking divorce after seeing his wife without makeup.

It appears that the man met the woman via Facebook after which they met several times physically before they decided to get married.

The man says he was duped by his wife who had apparently worn heavy makeup before they tied the knot, adding that he was shocked to discover her barefaced in the morning after their wedding.

He has filed a lawsuit seeking divorce and was quoted as saying that his wife looked ugly without makeup.

“I saw her pictures on Facebook, she looks totally different when she does not wear makeup. I was deceived and want to divorce her,” the man reportedly said.

The 28-year-old bride was devastated and needed psychological treatment to deal with the trauma of the divorce.

In yet another similar incident, a Saudi woman is reportedly demanding a divorce after finding out that her husband is bald just two days after their wedding.

The husband had concealed his baldness from his wife during and before their wedding by wearing a ghutra, a traditional Saudi cotton headdress.

However, a few days after their marriage, the woman saw him without the headdress and realized that he was bald.

“I feel embarrassed in front of my friends and relatives and I have concerns that my children could be prone to baldness. It is difficult for me to live with him anymore,” she said.

The lawsuit was filed just two days after the couple got married.
