Prince Harry and Prince William were once the hottest royal bachelors, and with their marriages, they are now officially off the market. Prince Charles’ sons are taken, but there are still eligible bachelors in the British royal family and one of them is about to get popular now.

In the recent Trooping the Colour ceremony, which also marks Queen Elizabeth’s birthday, a handsome prince was spotted in the balcony of Buckingham Palace as the royal family gathered there to witness the spectacular RAF fly-past. It was later revealed that he is the Queen’s distant cousin, and everyone is curious about him.

The handsome prince in the balcony who many people are now referring to as the “hottest member of the royal family” is Alexander “Alex” Ogilvy. As per Town & Country, he is the 55th in line to the throne and is the son of James and Julia Ogilvy and grandson of Princess Alexandra of Kent, Queen Elizabeth’s cousin.

He does not have a royal title and has no job in the Palace, but he is present in most of the major royal events. Not much is known about him, but through an online profile it was revealed that he is a student at the Brown University and is taking up Computer Science and Economics.

He will be graduating next year and is currently working as a strategic consulting intern at The Future Laboratory, an innovation consultancy company. Alex is also active in sports, and in fact he is the captain of the men’s rugby team in his school. Queen Elizabeth’s cousin is also a volunteer at the Food Recovery Network, where he collects unsold food from a local café and brings them to the distribution center.

Alex is turning 23 in November, and he has an older sister named Flora Alexandra. He lives in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, with his family, so he’s moving back and forth to the U.S., where he studies. The newest heartthrob in the British royal family will be all over the news soon as he is starting to get attention for his looks and is being seen as the next hottest royal bachelor.
