Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Might Find Adopting Meaningful

For weeks or even months, rumors are rife that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are so ready to have their second child. This, in spite the fact that their firstborn, Baby Archie was only born last May. Some insider however is now sure that the royals are now contemplating adoption for their second baby.

According to New Idea, an insider close to the couple said that Markle is the one keen to adopt. “Meghan and Harry spoke about their love of children and wanting to adopt one day, in the early days of dating, with Meghan insisting she wanted to adopt children as well as have her own biologically,” the source said.

While the two never mentioned anything about adoption in the public ever, nor talked about having baby No. 2, the insider said that those at the palace already knew of this plan. Allegedly, the two already talked to Queen Elizabeth about it and received actual blessing from the monarch!

Whether these rumors can eventually have truth in them in the future remains to be seen. It is not that farfetched for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to adopt at all. For one, Prince Harry is already close to children not his own. He is the founding patron of Mamohato Children’s Center located in Lesothro. This center is full of kids who were orphaned.

In addition, Prince Harry himself said that one of the ways they plan to support their own causes of reducing population growth is by only having a maximum of two children. Whether or not the second child will be an adopted baby does not matter. What matters is that his statement shows that he is not one of those guys who need their blood and surname spread across the world. Adoption will not be that bad of an idea for him.

At the present though, Markle and Harry do not have time to address these rumors or refute them. The two are busy raising Baby Archie on his first months. They took their roles so seriously that in public, the two even praised each other as being the best mom and best dad they know.
