Several critics accused Meghan Markle of being delusional after "pimping off her title" for political gains.

According to Page Six, Meghan Markle recently cold-called several American legislators. She had been pressing them about the terrible $3.5 trillion spending package while utilizing her royal position.

The Duchess of Sussex also made headlines when she advocated for paid parental leave in the United States. She also made cold calls to senators and used her position to introduce herself.

Royal expert Dan Wootton claimed that Meghan Markle called up and said: "Hi, I'm Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex," instead of saying: "Hello, my name is Meghan Markle?"

He is referring to a Politico article. According to the report, Meghan Markle called Republican senators on the spur of the moment to campaign for government-paid parental leave as part of President Biden's plans.

Wootton underscored in a GB News interview (via Express) that the British royal family members are not permitted to engage in politics.

According to Wootton, he had spoken to a lot of people close to Meghan. "She seriously believes – I mean, she may be delusional – but this woman seriously believes she may end up in the White House one day."

"That's what this is about, this is the start of a US political career," Wootton said.

Meanwhile, another report from Express mentioned that Carole Malone, a TV personality present on GB News during Wooton's interview, expressed her disapproval of Meghan's use of her royal status for political benefit.

"This is the woman who said she wants nothing to do with royal life, out of the royals, nothing to do with the establishment and here she is pimping off her title to open a door to get into the Senate," Malone remarked.

Wooton said Meghan Markle is not the only one who thinks she is getting ready for the White House. Her brother, Thomas Markle Jr., believes that her sister would be in the White House one day.

He feels his renowned sister has the "will and determination" to achieve where she wants to go. Hence, it would not surprise him if she ran for president.

Following reports that Meghan Markle may run for president of the United States, one critic also called her "deluded."

Piers Morgan, the anchor of "Good Morning Britain," criticized Meghan Markle after hearing the "disturbing" claims that she may run for US president. According to Micky News, Morgan has been a strident critic of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Morgan mocked the Duchess of Sussex on Twitter. "I have serious ambitions to be Pope – and have more chance of realizing them than this ludicrously deluded woman," he said.
