It's been over four decades since he embarked his career and Miguel Bosé is more relevant than ever. The Panamanian-born Spanish singer ---who by the way, is also an honorary Colombian--- celebrates 42 years of his successful trajectory, which once began in acting. He became an international superstar in the mid-1980s with his mesmerizing single "Amante Bandido," and has released 19 studio albums in total. Needless to say, he's collaborated with some of the finest acts for his "Papito" and "Papitwo" albums and was named Latin Grammys Person of the Year in 2013.

Bosé's impressive career only keeps getting better, as he's recently celebrating his 2014 release "AMO" with three nominations at the 2015 Latin Grammys: Album of the Year, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and Record of the Year with first single "Encanto." Ending October, the 59-year-old singer will invade the U.S. with his must-see spectacle, "AMO Tour." As of now, there are six confirmed concert dates in Texas and California, but more dates will be added for 2016. We talked to Miguel about his Latin Grammy nods, his upcoming U.S tour and much more! Find out what he said in the exclusive Q&A below.

Latin Times: First and foremost, congratulations on your three nominations. You are the artist who's been most nominated for Album of the Year at the Latin Grammys. What would finally winning this title mean for you and "AMO"?

Miguel Bosé: It would be a real pleasure and a great honor. This nomination not only celebrates the artist, but also the entire team. One person alone does not have enough knowledge for a production, that's why this award is honoring everyone in the team. I truly believe this is the best one of all the nominations.

LT: Two years ago, you were named Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy, this year it's Roberto Carlos. Do you have any anecdotes of the Brazilian singer?

MB: I don't know him, with everybody that I've met! Last year it was Serrat and with him I have a friendship, I even sang a song for him. But Roberto Carlos? I've never, ever met him. I guess that could be the anecdote that he's the only artist who I've never met. ***laughs***

LT: Now, let's talk about your "AMO Tour," which has been a major success in Spain and Mexico, and will now invade the United States. What can your fans expect in this great spectacle?

MB: They are going to be impressed, really. It's one of the most beautiful things I've done in my life ---not only because of the scenography, but the whole concept in general. It's a journey through my trajectory and it includes the most relevant songs from my career and the most popular from "AMO" also. It truly is extremely beautiful.

LT: Will there be any special guests in any of your presentations?

MB: No, no, no. Let's see. 'Papito' is done. It's done! ***laughs*** The era of duets is over. I already sang with everyone possible and that's it!

LT: I've noticed that your U.S. tour only has dates in the West Coast, will more dates and locations be added?

MB: Of course, right now we're doing the West Coast and the Southwest. Next year we'll be in the East Coast and Midwest, of course!

LT: In honor of your latest production "AMO," what are some of the things that Miguel Bosé loves?

MB: I love music, it's my career, it's my life. I love the oceans, the marina, it's my biggest passion. I love my family. I love to learn new things and meet new places every day.

LT: If the Miguel from today can give a piece of advice to the Miguel from the '70s, '80s when he was just starting his trajectory, what would he say?

MB: Do the same you've been doing! Don't change anything! I'm here today because of that reason.
