Authorities stated this week that a man suspected in Northern California serial killings has been charged in four more slayings, increasing the total to seven deaths, The New York Post reported.

The charging documents of San Joaquin filed on Tuesday, Dec. 27, stated that Wesley Brownlee's ambush-style killing spree allegedly began in April 2021 before picking up where he left off a year later.

On April 10, 2021, Juan Vasquez Serrano was fatally shot, and Mervin Harmon was murdered six days later, according to accusations against Brownlee. The men were killed just a few miles west of Stockton, in Alameda County.

Brownlee allegedly attempted to murder Natasha Jeanne Latour on the same day Harmon was murdered. She survived.

The documents claim that it may have taken the alleged serial killer another year before he allegedly murdered Salvador Debudey Jr. on April 11 in Stockton. The filing reveals that Brownlee allegedly killed Paul Yaw in July.

In October, police discovered Brownlee driving around Stockton streets in all-black attire, a mask over his neck, and a gun by his side as he was "on a mission to kill," and they arrested him.

Although Brownlee was initially accused of only three murders, authorities later charged him with at least six murders and Latour's attempted murder. Now, according to the prosecution, he killed Lawrence Lopez, Juan Carlos Carranza-Cruz, and Jonathan Rodriguez Hernandez between Aug. 30 and Sept. 27 of this year.

The relationship between Brownlee and his victims has not been revealed by the police, however, according to media reports the alleged killer lived in the same apartment complex as Rodriguez Hernandez. The 21-year-old’s body was found by the police in the building’s parking lot.

Brownlee "seemed like he had a little attitude problem at times," according to a neighbor.

The police continue to look for a motive behind the killings.

It was also reported that none of the victims were robbed.

Brownlee has a criminal history that includes traffic violations and convictions for drug crimes that date back to an arrest when he was 15 years old.

Other allegations against him include felons in possession of a firearm and in possession of ammunition. On Jan. 3, Brownlee is set to appear in court.
