Just over two months after gruesomely suffering a compound fracture in his right ankle while playing for team USA, the Indiana Pacers star shooting guard, Paul George, posted a video of him playing 1 on 1 with his dog. Paul looks almost fully recovered from his horrific injury that is supposed to sideline George for the next 9-12 months. In the video, George crosses over his pooch, and then shoots a jumper that hits the bottom of the net.

George’s dog was surprisingly a decent defender as he followed the ball and even chased it down after it went through the net. The dog which is named King was later shown in a close up with George in another Instagram photo he posted after the competition.

George was seen shooting three pointers at the Indiana Pacers practice facility just a day earlier, and has been medically cleared by Doctors to start putting weight on his leg and begin upper body workouts. George still believes there is a chance he can play again this season, but chances are the Indiana Pacers who lost guard, Lance Stephenson, in free agency will rest their two-time all-star for the entirety of the 2014 season. Unfortunately for George, it looks like 1 on 1 with King George might be the only action he sees this year.
