Turns out celebrity blogger Mario Lavandeira, most commonly known as Perez Hilton is branching and testing the waters in a Broadway play! During his appearance on the Howard Stern Show this morning, he announced he will be taking part as Danny Tanner in the musical parody “Full House! The Musical!” "I'm really excited to announce... It's really exciting for me, I'm going to be playing Bob Saget, basically, in a musical,” he told Stern. “We're starting in Toronto in late August and coming to New York City in September."

The play will be performed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 PM at Theatre 80, in New York City’s East Village. The show will follow the sweet story of the widowed father, who gets a helping hand from his best friend and brother-in-law to raise his three daughters. However, in the play, there will be an unfortunate twist of events for Bob Sagett’s well-known character, where Tanner loses his ability to solve any problems with his sensible, heartwarming ‘dad speeches’ which even his daughters couldn’t resist.

In preparation for the big event, Perez told Stern he's been seriously working on his vocal skills. “I've been working with this amazing vocal coach named Liz Caplan for a few years." Song performances will include "This House is Too Full," "Our Family is Better Than Your Family," "I'm Kind of a Slut (But Just Enough for Network TV),” "Dad Speech (I'm a F-cking Superhero)", and "Kimmy Gibler Don't Give a F—k," plus "Look at These Assholes," a solo aria by Comet the Dog according to Entertainment Weekly.
