Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Instant Game lineup for Europe and the U.S. in June, and the company announced PlayStation 4 owners will get twice as many titles a month.
According the PlayStation blog there are other changes too. In the blog post Sony explains that starting June the titles included in the instant game collection will be availalbe for slightly less time, from the first Wednesday of the month right up until the first Wednesday of the following month. Sony says this is because most gamers are downloading the titles right away, but in effect this means you may not have access to as many titles on PS3 as you once did.
Since we are always looking to continue the evolution of PS Plus as a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games each month within the Instant Game Collection," it reads. "As you’ll see below, starting in June, members will now have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.
"Since we’ve seen how excited many of you are to download Instant Game Collection titles as soon as they’re available, we’ve decided to adjust the length of time each title will be available. Starting in July, every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Wednesday of the month, and will be free for that month, until the first Wednesday of the following month.
As for the lineup the PS4 owners will get "Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate" and "Trine 2: Complete Story," while PS3 owners will get "NBA 2K14" and "Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time." Lastly, PS Vita owners will have "Terraria" and "Mutant Mudds Deluxe" to look forward to. Check out the trailer for June's instant game collection below:
