Pope Francis ended his visit to Cuba on Tuesday, September 22 and began to make his way to the U.S. making history as this will be his first time.

The Pontiff is scheduled to arrive at Washington, D.C.’s Andrews Air Force for his six-day visit on Tuesday afternoon, and President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, will be there to greet him. "The pope is a singular figure and he has really stirred the souls of people all around the world,” said Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary.
