An Indonesian pop diva raised eyebrows in a recent interview by revealing that she often watches porn with her teen boys in order to "teach" them.

Yuni Shara, 49, sparked outrage on social media after confessing that she and her sons Cavin Obrient Salomo Siahaan and Cello Obient Siahaan watched X-rated movies together. According to an online tabloid, the famed Indonesian singer stated she educated the teenage boys about the dos and don'ts of sex in real life.

Shara stated that she does not wish to be traditional and wishes to teach her sons to be more open-minded. According to the publication, she also asked them if they enjoyed watching porn together.

"So, I think it's better if I ask them, 'What do you guys think about watching (porn) together like this, is it cool?', and they'll be like 'Mom, don't be like this,'" she recently revealed per NZ Herald.

Kris Dayanti, the singer's younger sister, has praised her parenting methods and urged her children to receive proper sexual education.

"My children also happen to be open-minded," Shara continued. "It's impossible for our children nowadays [not to watch porn], whether it's 'anime' or any other kind that are available nowadays."

Psychotherapist Agstried Piether reportedly supported the mother-of-two, telling Indonesian news outlet Antara that she was doing the "right thing."

"When we see the kids watching pornographic movies, no matter how uncomfortable the situation is, we should never be angry, because they will only do it again in secret," he said. "Through these discussions, parents can provide factual sex education based on their knowledge, and not based on porn films."

Shara's unusual parenting methods, however, generated a response on social media.

"Too Far madam... Too far," Gojekn VP Ario Madimas tweeted. "'And now, which one of you will practice that move?' Yuni Shara - 2021," one Twitter user joked. "I think I've seen this one," another quipped. "That sounds like a porn title to me," another chimed in.

MEAWW reported on Jun. 22, that an adult film actress who just became a mother was campaigning for stricter age-verification regulations on pornographic websites. Candice Horbacz, also known as Eva Lovia, said that the birth of her son prompted her to consider what her profession could do to prevent minors from viewing pornographic content.

While appearing as a guest on the "Holly Randall Unfiltered" podcast on Jun. 9, she stated that she takes responsibility for preventing her child from witnessing the "convincing" and "violent" pornography that is openly available nowadays very seriously.

"I think it's made me reflect a lot more on it, just to really understand the different facets and the potential impacts and the potential consequences it could have on individuals," she said per Toronto Sun.

"I've always been pretty anti-free-porn," she said during the podcast. "I've always thought a paywall just seems like the most ethical way to approach porn, especially with the content that's out there now." She added, "I've talked to a lot of clinical psychologists and evolutionary biologists -- I've had the pleasure of talking to a lot of experts on my show -- and they express the potential risks of consuming content too young without context."
