Latin music star Nicky Jam has launched a new campaign with the simple intention of helping those in need. Challenging other artists to share a smile, Nicky left his recording studio to distribute food to people with limited resources.

Under the name "Por Una Sonrisa Challenge," the singer tries to ease the anguish that a homeless person could have, by sharing a meal that perhaps, could be the first and only one that that person receives during the day.

Challenging J Balvin and Bad Bunny, the singer shared the first video writing that "no matter what gesture you choose, you can do the same if you want." During the video you can see the "Si tú la ves" singer giving the food in exchange for a smile, which sometimes become hugs and handshakes. "The idea is to put a drop of love for a smile in the world. I also challenge all my followers to make a nice gesture, to help others and not just for this initiative but for every day. Let us all rejoin by doing something good daily in order to live in a much better world," wrote Nicky on Instagram.

During the video, Nicky Jam also tells how the idea came to him, assuring that the intention is that everyone help someone regardless of whether they know that person or not. "It will be something very good to transmit good energy to the world," he says. "All for a smile."

"I feel good, I love to help, I love to see the smile in the face of the people I help," Nicky concludes.
