Mexican singer, actress, entrepreneur, fashion designer and social media lover Thalía razzle-dazzled in an impressively opulent dress on Premio Lo Nuestro 2017.

The gown was fully handmade by Dominican designer Giannina Azar, one of the most popular fashion designers in the country. With more than 25 years in the business, the couturier boast a long list of fashion shows locally and internationally.

Azar is the winner, three years in a row, of "Diseñador del Año" award in Dominican Republic. She's dressed beauty pageant queens and celebrities all over Latin America, like former Miss Dominican Republic 2015, Miss Nuestra Belleza Latina 2016 and now "El Gordo y La Flaca" co-host Clarissa Molina, Miss Haiti and Miss Universe 2016 first runner-up Raquel Pelissier, and her most recent client, the Amor a la Mexicana singer, Thalía.

During a segment of Premio Lo Nuestro, one of the host of the night, Venezuelan Chiquinquirá Delgado noticed Thalía's dress and pointed it out so she would talk more about it. The singer confessed she found Azar on Instagram. "I saw this dress on one of her quick videos on Instagram and right away I sent her a private message," said the singer super excited. "I told her 'I want to meet you, I want a dress' and she replied back."

The very enthusiastic pair shared in their respective social media accounts several photos and videos of the very commented piece.

Even though the dress was a showstopper, it wasn't the only gown Giannina Azar had walking on the Magenta Carpet. Model and TV Presenter Clarissa Molina and Alessandra Villegas also trusted in the Dominican designer's amazing taste.

This seems to be one of the biggest moments of Azar and we can't wait to see what surprises will come next with this orgullo Latino.
