Sony is set to release a PlayStation 4 bundle that'll include a game and extra accessories for the same price as their competition, Microsoft's Xbox One. Though the bundle has not been unveiled, Amazon France has revealed it will include a copy of "Killzone: Shadow Fall," the PlayStation 4 camera and two DualShock 4 controllers. All this is in addition to a Jet Black 500 GB PlayStation 4 console.
At the moment the bundle is listed for retail at €499, which is the exact same amount as Microsoft's European Xbox One price. Microsoft will be giving gamers who pre-order the Xbox One console will get the Kinect and a copy of "FIFA 14" for the same price. It is worth noting that since neither company has mention bundle backs for the next-generation consoles this is the closest gamers will get to PS4 and Xbox One bundles.
In June we heart that Sony had decided against bundling the PlayStation 4 in with the console to make sure it beat Microsoft when it came to price points for the next-generation consoles. At some point Sony must have decided that the company can afford to include it in a bundle after all.
Both Sony's PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One are due out November. The PlayStation 4 is due November 15 and the Xbox One still has an unknown release date. Although it is rumored that Microsoft will be launching their next-generation console November 8, a week prior to Sony's Release. Sony has still not mentioned any official news on UK or European bundles at this time.
