As Prince Charles prepares to take over the British throne, Queen Elizabeth is reportedly worried about the longest monarch-in-waiting in England's royal family history. Is there truth to any of these claims?

Though Gossip Cop said Queen Elizabeth hasn't spilled the tea yet as to who would take over the throne, the Prince of Wales's royal experts gave critical evaluations as to why he is not fit to be king.

Clive Irving, the author of the recent biography "The Last Queen," compared the future rule of the monarchy by Charles to "driving over a cliff."

"The Queen seems more modern than Charles," he said per Express.co.uk.

Irving underscored that Charles significantly differs from his mother in terms of keeping the Royal Family image pristine. He stressed that, unlike Charles, Queen Elizabeth upheld the "mystery," maintaining the respect of the general public.

Several reports have also shown that the British public does not see the Prince of Wales as an ideal person for the position. As it happens, most people want to see Prince William rule rather than his dad.

According to Reader's Digest, British people don't want Prince Charles to become king because they have yet to forgive Prince Charles for his past mistakes.

The Prince of Wales lost the public in the aftermath of his marriage to Princess Diana, not to mention his admission to his extramarital affair with his now-wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Even though this occurred nearly three decades ago, the general public still remembers how the Princess of Wales suffered during her marriage.

Cheat Sheet issued a similar explanation as to why the British public would not want Prince Charles sitting at the throne. While the reasons primarily point to his previous faults, especially those related to his first marriage, it was also stated that the Heir Apparent himself said he does not want to be the King of the United Kingdom in the future.

Despite the ongoing claims, the Parliament's laws of succession will determine if Prince Charles is going to be King someday. If everything goes accordingly, he will be the king whether the public likes it or not.
