Meghan Markle is yet to get an honorary military appointment from Queen Elizabeth. While other royals, Kate Middleton, Camilla Parker Bowles, and even Princess Anne has been given an RAF honor, Prince Harry’s wife is lagging on this aspect.

Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth truly have a complicated and unpredictable relationship. If media reports are to be taken account with regard to how the Queen behaves toward Markle, one can even describe their relationship as being a love-hate one, wherein one minute it seems the Queen favors the Duchess of Sussex and the next, she’s ignoring her and not giving her the same favors as she gave Kate Middleton.

After Fabulous Digital exclusively reported that the Queen went out to forge a closer relationship with the former “Suits” star, the Sun is now reporting that Markle is still not yet given an honorary military apportionment that Middleton and Bowles are already given.

Back in 2015, Middleton was appointed Honorary Air Commandant of the RAF Air Cadets by Prince Philip. Bowles, on the other hand, was made patron of the Desert Rats Association. Prince Anne also holds a number of honorary military appointments - a grand total of 27. Consequently, this enables her to ride beside her brothers Prince Charles as well as Andrew at the Trooping the Colour.

Even Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana was given several military honors. She has conferred the patron of the Princess of Wales’ Regiment. The Queen herself earned her military accolade by contributing to the Women’s Auxiliary Territorial Service back in the Second World War.

According to the Sun, Markle does not have a military appointment or is yet to earn one because of several reasons, outside the Queen’s affections. First, it could be because she is on maternity leave. She had her firstborn just in May.

Second, Markle is personally not interested in military issues or activities. She is bigger on environmentalism, women's rights, and social issues. Lastly, she does not have British citizenship.

Not only is Markle prioritizing her baby and her social causes these days, but she’s also big on self-care. She’s enthusiastic about yoga and eating right. On her birthday, she made sure she gets to celebrate properly with her small family. According to Hello Magazine, Markle headed to Ibiza on a private jet with Prince Harry and baby Archie for a short holiday to celebrate this special day. It’s supposed to be a secret trip but somehow the media got wind of it.
