Queen Elizabeth's advisors reportedly built a "ring of steel" around the Buckingham Palace to prevent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from bringing Netflix cameras during the British monarch's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a royal expert has claimed.

The pair's spokesperson confirmed Harry's attendance in the Jubilee celebration together with Meghan and their two children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet. The family was "excited and honored" to be attending.

Meanwhile, according to Russell Myers, the Buckingham Palace aides have reportedly put a stern barrier around the Queen. "There is an absolutely a ring of steel around the Queen in terms of her advisors. I mean, they certainly would be advising Harry and Megan to not even think about it for a second, but who knows what they will do?"

Meghan and Harry are said not to be invited to stand with the Queen and other royals on the balcony during the Platinum Jubilee event as they wave at the crowd during the Trooping the Colour ceremony that marks the start of the celebrations.

"They would definitely have been advised not to speak to Oprah Winfrey not to speak to Gayle King not to speak to the American journalists last week and yet they still keep on doing it. I mean, it makes you wonder how much the family can take anymore and I'm sure Prince William has got his head in his hands as Prince Charles as every time they pop up on the television."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a mega-million deal with Netflix in Sept. 2020 to produce documentary content for the streaming giant. However, Meghan's Netflix project "Pearl" has been recently dropped due to financial cutbacks as the company suffered a fall in subscriber numbers.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed the couple may now come under pressure to quickly "produce more" royal content. He told Express, "Clearly there will be pressure on Harry and Meghan to produce more and probably more quickly."

There had been speculations over whether Harry, given his discourse with the government over security, would travel to the United Kingdom to participate with other royals in celebrating the Queen's Jubilee.
