Queen of the South

Last week’s episode of “Queen of the South” had us biting our nails watching Camila trying to get back in business. Out of money, cocaine and options, she takes an incredibly risky step by ripping off some dangerous dealers out of Florida. For this week’s episode 109, “Coge todo lo que puedas llevar,” Camila orders Maria (Lanell Pena), the lone witness from the hotel heist, killed, Teresa (Alice Braga) races to save the woman's life before James (Peter Gadiot) can find her.

Now made whole again, Camila visits her customers to assure them she's back in business without any help from Epifanio (Joaquim de Almeida). While dealing with the fallout from the casualties, Camila sees an opportunity to deal with Epifanio and "The Birdman" (Brent Smiga), once and for all. Guest stars for this episode are: Adolfo Alvarez, Dave Maldonado, Riga Sanchez, Grant Garrison, and Brent Smiga.

“Queen of the South” tells the powerful story of Teresa Mendoza, a woman who is forced to run and seek refuge in America after her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico. In the process, she teams with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug trafficking ring that has her on the run.

Starring Alice Braga ("City of God") as Teresa, the original drama series is based on the global best-selling novel "La Reina Del Sur," by internationally acclaimed author Arturo Pérez-Reverte. The literary page-turner also yielded one of the most popular super series of all time for USA's sister network, Telemundo.

“Queen of the South” also stars Veronica Falcón ("Besos de Azúcar") as Camila Vargas, Justina Machado ("Six Feet Under") as Brenda Parra, Peter Gadiot ("Tut") as James Valdez, Hemky Madera ("Weeds") as Pote Galvez and Gerardo Taracena ("Apocalypto") as Cesar "Batman" Guemes. Guest stars include Joaquim de Almeida ("Our Brand is Crisis"), Jon Ecker ("Narcos") and James Martinez ("Breaking Bad").
