Archie Andrews (K.J. Apa) will get a new nemesis in “Riverdale” Season 4. Details about the new character are currently being kept under wraps, but the character’s name has been revealed to be Dodger.

Canadian actor Juan Riedinger will playing Dodger in the next season of the popular mystery drama series, Deadline reported. This is a major new character, and it has been revealed to be a recurring role.

Riedinger is best known for his role as Carlos Lehder in “Narcos.” He has also been a part of “The Romeo Section,” “Good Behavior,” and “Claws.”

The plot of the next season hasn’t been announced, but it is expected to be about the Gargoyle King’s identity. This was the subject of the finale episode, and the show may pick up from there when it returns.

It remains to be seen how Dodger will be connected to the new storyline. According to The Wrap, the only thing that has been revealed about the new character is that he is a “local thug” who becomes Archie’s nemesis in “Riverdale” Season 4.

The premiere episode of the show will be a tribute to the late actor Luke Perry, who played the character Fred Andrews on the show. Perry has also been on the “Beverly Hills 90210” TV series, and his co-star from the show Shannen Doherty will be making a cameo appearance in “Riverdale” to pay tribute to the late actor.

There will also be a Halloween special episode on the show this year, but details about it are yet to be confirmed. The plot and a trailer of the next season will be released in the coming weeks.

“Riverdale” Season 4 will air on October 9 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW. Some of the other cast members of the show include Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Casey Cott, Cole Sprouse, and Marisol Nichols.
