Selena Gomez went on an unfollow spree on Instagram and her followers noticed. The social media queen is the most followed user on the social network and recently went on a major purge. Gomez didn't follow many people --about 300-- but recently she went down to only following 30 which included Taylor Swift, Francia Raisa, Julia Michaels, Amy Schumer, Jessica Alba and some of her fan club accounts. The "Wolves" hit maker unfollowed stars like Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, Gigi Hadid and her "13 Reasons Why" cast.

Selena has not addressed the issue as to what prompted her to unfollow all those people but she did share a picture that took her back to her childhood home. “The home I grew up in, from birth to 12.. (no one was home when I knocked this time lol) I visit this place every chance I get,” she wrote on Instagram. “In many ways it very well could have been better than my life today, but I’m grateful for a voice that can enable change today. Even when I don’t know how to do it well or actually want it. I love you Grand Prairie. Thank you.”

One person Selena is following is her mother Mandy Teefey, who reportedly had had a fallout in the last couple of weeks. Mandy had recently been hospitalized with initial reports suggesting it was after a fight she had with her daughter over her relationship with Justin Bieber. Those rumors turned out to be false and Teefey was admitted voluntarily and going through a stressful time. “It’s been a stressful time for Mandy and she made the decision herself to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay. This wasn’t just about Justin,” a source told People, adding “It’s true her family doesn’t approve of Justin, but this wasn’t just over a fight about him.”

Selena Gomez getting back together with Justin Bieber has allegedly been an issue with her family as their previous breakup caused a lot of pain for the "Wolves" hitmaker. “Justin knows Selena’s family is not happy about her dating him,” the insider says. “He has known for a long time. But he is adamant that he has changed and is a better boyfriend now. He will keep trying to prove himself to her family. He is sad that her mom is not doing well. Selena is very close with her mom, so it’s stressful for her. He wants Selena to be happy.”

In a severe contrast, Justin Bieber's parents love that Selena is back in his life as she is a positive influence for him. "His parents love Selena. That want him to date someone and think she is very sweet and a good girl," a source shared with E! News. "They are happy with how Justin is doing and his focus. They support him going to church often and having his faith being such a big part of his life." The tipster also added: "They think that being back together with Selena is a positive thing. He wants to do things differently and make it right and show everyone how far he has come."

Pattie Mallette loves Selena. "She thinks she's a positive influence in his life. Justin has been a lot more motivated since they've rekindled," another source told the publication. "Justin has a very close relationship with his mother and wouldn't pursue a relationship with someone that his mom didn't like."
