Selena Gomez leaves a bit of her in everything she does, and it’s evidenced in her recent collaboration with Puma. The “Lose You to Love Me” singer recently stirred up intrigue with the collection—emblazoned with special symbols with meaning.

The new collection entails a series of snazzy rugby-inspired looks in a range of eclectic colors like navy, pink, silver, and white. Needless to say, the range on display do double duty—and transports you from casual to chic, rather effortlessly. Speaking of the special symbols, Gomez believes they were all-powerful signs that gave her the strength to find personal battles.

On the semi-color symbol— “I got that [tattoo] on my wrist with the cast of 13 Reasons Why, and it was because I wanted to continue living no matter how difficult it got,” she said. “To me, it represents getting back up. No matter what, life is going to be hard, and it's about the people you surround yourself and it's the way you get back up from it,” she added.

It’s clear that Gomez has her hustle game on. The 27-year-old is not looking back, and she’s trying her best to move forward with strength, irrespective of what life throws at her. The other symbols are her birth date, co-ordinates and an arrow pointing forward.

On the work front, Gomez is currently on a roll. Her latest songs have done really well, and she made her first live appearance at the American Music Awards after close to two years. On the personal front, things are yet to settle for Gomez who’s currently single and healing from the aftermath of a heart-wrenching breakup from former beau Justin Bieber.

Not too long ago, things got awkward for Gomez when Bella Hadid took down an Instagram post that Gomez had commented on. The air was cleared by both of The Weeknd’s exes. Soon after, the next thing we hear is Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) dropping a new track, titled “Like Selena”.

The news surfaced when Tesfaye registered the song with ASCAP. Tesfaye and Gomez called it quits in the year 2017. Two years later, Tesfaye still seems bitter and has dropped several hints about just being a pit-stop for Gomez until she made up her mind.
