Controversy continues to shroud the decision of US President Joe Biden to pull out troops from Afghanistan, a move meant that was reportedly meant to end the war.

However, Biden’s intent may end up pushing him onto another war with some feeling that his move was dishonorable. That includes Senator Lindsey Graham who feels that the US Prexy should be impeached for his actions.

“This makes it harder to fight future wars. Who’s going to help us in the future after we abandoned our friends in Afghanistan who fought bravely?” Graham stated to Fox News.

“And the likelihood of a 9/11 is through the roof now, because Al Qaeda and ISIS are coming after us. If you believe we’ve left Afghanistan and we’ve ended the war between the US and radical Islam, you’re a fool. They’re coming after us and Joe Biden has left us naked and blind in Afghanistan,” she added.

The statements of Graham come not long after Biden said that they were on pace to complete their evacuation mission from Afghanistan by the end of the month. The Taliban has set Aug. 31 as the deadline where no American troops should remain in the country.

“The sooner we can finish, the better. Each day of operations brings added risk to our troops,” Biden stated.

But for Graham, there is no way that Biden can get all American citizens out of Afghanistan by Aug. 31. He also pointed out how they were abandoning thousands of Afghans who fought along outside behind, and we’re setting the table for the rise of Al Qaeda and ISIS to attack us down the road.

“President Biden has signed the death warrant for thousands of Afghans who helped us,” Graham added. “He’s washing his hands of Afghanistan at our peril as a nation.”

With a lot of people trying to get out of Afghanistan, some feel that evacuating all of them in time would be tough. Even if the deadline were to be extended, most feel that it will not be enough to get innocent civilians out of the country.

“So how do you get to Kabul in these circumstances? The Taliban are not waving you through. So yeah, there’s no way we get all the American citizens out and there’s no way we avoid leaving tens of thousands of Afghans behind,” Graham stated.
