Colombian singer Shakira is involved in a new controversy. According to recent reports, the artist snuck into the terror tunnel to avoid the queue at a famous Halloween party so as not to wait last Friday.

20minutos reported that according to a witness, the singer did not stand in line and allegedly skipped a 90-minute-long queue for a Halloween attraction. Witnesses said the singer sneaked with her children Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, and other assistants who were with her.

According to a report by 9TeleCinco, Shakira ignored dozens of children that had been queuing for more than half an hour. The report added that those in attendance, including children and parents, would have taken Shakira's haughty attitude badly.

Journalist Silvia Taulés stated that Shakira didn’t flinch even if people cried out when she skipped them in line and wondered, "What kind of example is that for her kids?” “That from such a young age, they learn that they can cut in front of everyone when it’s not necessary.” Taulés shared a picture on Twitter showing the Super Bowl halftime performer at the venue with her kids, Page Six reported.

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, born on Feb. 2, 1977, is a Colombian singer born and raised in Barranquilla. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Latin Music" and is noted for her musical versatility. She made her recording debut with Sony Music Colombia at the age of 13.

After her first two commercial albums failed, she rose to fame in Hispanic countries with her next albums, Pies Descalzos and Dónde Están Los Ladrones? The singer entered the English-language market with her fifth album, "Laundry Service," which sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Buoyed by the international success of her singles "Whenever, Wherever" and "Underneath Your Clothes," the album propelled her reputation as a leading crossover artist.

Meanwhile, it hasn’t been an easy year for the Colombian superstar. She is in the midst of a controversial breakup and custody battle with Barcelona FC player Gerard Piqué, 35, with whom she has two kids. On June 4, 2022, Shakira and Pique announced their separation in a mutual statement. The ex-couple wrote, “We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect our privacy."
