Shakira has a big year ahead of her. The Colombian singer and philanthropist is getting ready to make her musical comeback with a new album set to release in early 2014. The new production is her first on Sony label RCA, and it's dedicated to none other that Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué, her boyfriend and father of baby Milán, who will be a year old in January. Although the title of the album is still unknown, the new record is almost ready and the singer is just giving it the finishing touches.

To make the anticipation even higher, she publicly announced on her Twitter account that she already shot the video of the song that will become her first single with director Joseph Kahn, known for Mariah Carey and Miguel's "#Beautiful," Eminem and Rihanna's "Love the Way You Lie," and if you're a 90's kid, you'll remember some of his creations being Backstreet Boys' "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," Brandy & Monica's "The Boy Is Mine," Destiny's Child's "Say My Name," Christina Aguilera's "I Turn To You," Britney Spears' "Stronger," and even Enrique Iglesias' "Hero" among many, many others.

"I Just finished the video for my first single with director Joseph Kahn! Shak," Shakira wrote, creating major buzz on whether or not that single was the highly expected duet with Rihanna that everyone's been commenting about. The single is set to release in January, so we will have to wait until then. We will also get more Shakira starting February 24, on the sixth season of "The Voice," where she will be returning to replace Christina Aguilera for this season. Usher is returning too, in lieu of Cee Lo Green.

While both Shakira and Usher had successful runs as first-time coaches on the fourth season of "The Voice," with one of Usher's vocalists, Michele Chamuel even making the final three, neither won the title. It was Team Blake's Danielle Bradbery who won the competition, marking the third consecutive win for coach Blake Shelton. His winning streak came to an end on Tuesday, when Tessanne Chin, from Team Adam was announced as the winner for Season 5. Hopefully, our Shak will see the most potential next season and maybe snag the title for her alum.
